KY TCC 07

Re: KY TCC 07

Speaking of making this TCC hard to forget.....

I was up in Virginia this weekend (just got back) doing some training for my Judging work. Mostly stretching, some shadow boxing. Light stuff for now.

October is a long way off. The worst thing I could do would be to pull a hammy or something and throw off my strict training regime.

Here I am by the coy pond, I believe this stretch is titled "Greet the Sun" , and yes, I am wearing my orange Ohio Chapter TCC shirt.

Re: KY TCC 07

you are going to need to step it up a notch if you plan on competeing with the TNCG judging team..... might i suggest some Denise Austin in the morning(the work out!) and some Richard Simmons in the afternoon......

fallow that up with three dozen raw eggs, 18 pints of guinness, and a slice of wheat bread.

none of that hippie sun streching

The rules state that no competitor or judge should be partaking of moonshine DURING an event.SZ

Just put it in a bottle of water. Nobody will know the difference.........until you drink it.

Roger, I thought Riggs volunteered?
We charge $200 for vendors. Are you still looking for vendors? and sponsors? Try to have a bucket truck or 2 at the TCC. One for throwline and 1 for setting climbers in the work climb. The work climb bucket saves an enormous amount of time.

Re: KY TCC 07

"The work climb bucket saves an enormous amount of time. "

And theoretically saves the Work Climb judging crew from buying spider rolls for the Aerial Rescue judges after the TCC!

Don't worry Stephan, I have the full list of names involved with that bet and sooner or later they will pay up.

Incidentally I would opt for a crane on the work climb. That saves even more time than a bucket.

Re: KY TCC 07

I guess it depends on how the setup is in the work climb, and where the crane is positioned, and the skill of the crane operator.

I personally think cranes can work better, but maybe not in every circumstance.

Re: KY TCC 07

The crane in Charlotte NC was great- don't care to much for the bucket entry. EZ- I can take RemovalWiz to the woodshed for you for a small fee? Which event will you be judging- extra discretianary points go a long way!

Re: KY TCC 07

The Work Climb is the best event.

You would surprise yourself with how well you will do.

I'll see you competing in Charlotte next year on April 18th.

A crane will lift you to the top.

Re: KY TCC 07

No no no, Pancake.

I have no quarrel with Removal Enchantress. I mean Wizard.

" There is no need to take him to the woodshed" *waves arm to use the force*

"These are not the droids we are looking for"

Re: KY TCC 07

You just use the force in your training Easy. Become one with the tree. Looking forward to this competition gonna be a blast as long as Roger doesn't leave me off.

Roger, do you have a competitor list? Also, can I get a dvd from KY 06' TCC?

[/ QUOTE ]

There probably isn't anyone signed up yet Jeremy. I know Chris and I will be there. Probably Richard Potts from Louisville as well. Maybe a couple guys from Dave Leonard's outfit in Lexington. A few will venture down from Cincinati to give us a hard time.

If there is a DVD I want one too. If you're looking for more knowledge of the events, go to the ISA website and download the rules and regs book for the ITCC. That will tell all about the scoring and give a good description of each event. There are short videos floating around the Buzz that show people's Work Climbs from various comps. I know there is one of No Bivy at the Charlotte comp.

You'll be fine. Just show up.
