Kolibbri Multislide Harness

Cory, I had a sky belt, the Komet evolution, plus the dragonfly, and somewhere in-between was the Buckingham Traverse…which was by far the best of the bunch.

Rookie Climber, I'm cant comment on ANSI as I live in Europe and not the US. However, if I did live in the U.S, when it came to using equipment or techniques that were critical to my life, I'd trust my own better judgement and intuition before that of ANSI, George Bush or anyone else.

I'm not deliberarely trying to set a bad example, or encourage anyone to revolt, just expessing my personal views as an individulal. Thanks

Have any other users of this saddle had issues with the adjustable bridge creeping a bit. There is no way it could come out but when I make it short it creeps out about an inch after about 3 hours.

Has anyone come up with a use for those slats on the side Ds on the Kolibri?

Mine doesn't have those slats!

Mine has the 4 slits on the permanently angled "D's".
I was told that the top 2 are used to attach a Kolibri chest assender / suspenders. I have them installed currently.
To the 2 on the bottom right, I attached a very small length of webbing w/ a boat snap to help stabilize a saw.

I'd really like to give one of these harnesses a go but I don't think anyone sells them in Canada. I'd appreciate any more close up pics if anyone has got any.

I think it needs more loops in the back.

I think those top loops are for pulling it on?

For crane removals and cabling I used a Bosun type saddle. For pruning it was the ButterflyII Now I Just use the 1 (hummingbird) It is a bit of a bother stepping through the leg loops especially when "layered up" in the winter. The return in comfort and adjustability is worth it. Its lighter than it looks also. And yeah, if you run out of storage space on that thing, your carrying way too much stuff

Thats how I feel about the Kolibri, maybe the next version could have opening legloops and a back support like the treemotion. I like the wide webbing adjustability, especially on the leg loops.
