These are the 7 1/4 x 4 1/2x 1/2 knives that go on the bandit 100-250 chippers manufactured after June 2000. It says in the Sherrill catalog they also fit a 280 and 1850. I have 2 sets of knives one brand new $200, and one re-sharpened set $125. The re-sharpened set has approx. just under 1/16th inch taken off each side. They have a few small nicks from handling but are sharp and ready to use. I got these with my chipper I just purchased but they are the wrong size, the guy bought them thinking they would fit but they dont so I am looking to sell so I can get the right set for mine. Buy both sets and I will send them to you for $300 I will pay shipping in the lower 48.

I'm interested. I only have two sets, as I now have the new disc in my 1997 250SP.

Are these Simonds knives, made in the US? They are better than the Zenith product.

I have two sets of Simonds for my old disc which I need to sell. They've been sharpened once. I'd trade you straight across, and pay for shipping both ways if yours are Simonds. If they're Zenith, we could simply trade. I've had no problems with the zenith knives, which can be had for as little as $30 each.

Roger, they are in fact Simonds, only problem is your knives wont fit either. My chipper isnt even a bandit. The guy that bought these get them from someone who told them they should fit the chipper I have now but they dont. I wish I could get a trade going with you but it still wont work out for me the knives I need are still different.

CreTree as far as I know according to Sherrill, Bailey's, etc they will fit your chipper. Best to double check though to be sure of course.

They came Tuesday. Picked em up yesterday, as I had to sign for em. Put a set in tonite...the chipper was danged dull...

Just in time!! Many thanks., Casey. You da man!

I must say, you did one bang up job of packaging them! wowsers!
