I personally like the smoked one because I find it hides scratches longer, I cant stand scratches in front of my eyes.

I am happy with the clear.
I wear contacts and can't stand wearing glasses with a layer of dust and a shield with another.
My migraines almost completley went away with the use of contancts.

Thanks for the link to the article. I've got a couple of face shields that I wear when I cut/grind metal that are soooo scratched. The heat gun that I have is the same as in the pic too! I'm going to see about salvaging them!
