Kask issues with sweat

Im a sweaty dood. This has caused a problem with my kask. Maybe someone can help. The thread brass inserts that the visor attaches to have seized up from salt, acids etc from my schwetyness. There is a bunch of green oxidization, and white efflorescence on the screws. I can't get them unseized and have tried every obvious solution. Anyone else had this prob?

Tried Cola yet!
Or mb more sweat.

My nic name in Highschool(why was that hard to spell LOL) was Fish and sponge.
What are you doin, sittin on it? Put it on your head.lol

I just lost my Kask in the Hammer. Back to the ol Petzl not as comfy. The Kask visor rocks to.

Not sure, all over a small property and let an employee use it while I was up the ladder trimming vines so he wouldn't get bonked holding the ladder.
Last time I saw it.

If a drop of penetrating oil won't break it loose, you could perhaps try heating the fastener, briefly and gently with a soldering iron.

I've taken several old cotton ball caps, cut the brims back to about a half inch, and use them as liners. I may go through 3 or 4 in a days time, but they soak up a lot of sweat, and I just wash them with the rest of the laundry at the end of the day.

Keeps my hippie hair under control too.
