Just bought the akimbo

I just bought myself the akimbo!I'm looking for a good rope for srt/mrt climbing that works really well with the akimbo. Im 6,2ft 275lbs! I’m also looking for a comfy saddle for my size I do not want a nut pincher. I’m not obsessed with the weight of the saddle. I’m into comfort first. Any help will be appreciated.

Check out the *certified* / recommended ropes for the 130kg weight limit, there's a few that are recommended by RE

New tribe is the first place I'd look for something comfy that is not a treemotion.
I have a suspicion that if you fit into a treemo, it's still the comfiest option around.

Dragonfly and drenaline are my favorite ropes with akimbo. I use the treemotion. Great saddle. I’ve heard great things about the monkey beaver too.

Boys are happy. There is an extra strap that holds the leg pads in place. A lot of guys think they are not necessary but they do work. I usually strap them up but not always. Augusthunike.com is the only place you can get them

Does the monkey beaver go by pant size or waist size? My pant size is a 38 my waist 45.

Diameter just above your hips. MB's are pretty generous in waist measurements. I have an XL but have used a L without any issues, in fact I probably should have gotten the L instead.

the tree motion says it only fits up to a 36 waist. am i missing something?

I know there's somebody who's 6'2 and 275 with a 36" waist.
I thought it went to 38" though. Guess I was wrong.

Back in the day when I was 275 or thereabouts the best I could do was a 38 waist.

Yes, but no. It'll work, but not very well. It really milks my 16 strand for example. And of course the RE wants you to only use the recommended ropes.
