I wish you a speedy recovery Mike!

I have been a long time lurker and still remember your first vids. What a crazy contraption he is operated right from the tree... that is soo cooool! These were my first impressions. You have affected some people who have gone on to buy their own k-booms because of you. Realize though you have affected 3-4 times that many people or maybe more to dream BIG!

Nothing like a useless organ to rupture at the right time, hate to see a reckless surgon add to the mess.

Hope you get better soon. Getting out of the hospital should help!

Seems like PM is looking to produce the best kboom. They had to get an Effer engineer to do that. Maybey he wasnt the top engineer though. Of corurse everyone always wants to simulate the best.

That sucks...make sure u take the time to rest and heal.

I had an appendectomy...my appendix was very swollen...4 inch...incision to remove it. I waited 4 days and went back to work cause i was feeling better. The staples caught on my harness...ripped out, the incision reopened, i got a bad infection (there was woodchips in there LOL...doctor hated me) and was out of commission for longer. Yeah I'm stupid :)

Hasta la vista effin drain tube! See ya later hospital! Finally home from hospital (everyone at hospital was great.......except for the surgeon:sexually harassed me upon greeting in ER, left all kinds of fecal in my body after surg., didn't instal drain tube, ordered nurses not to give pain meds when I woke from surg, pulled me off anti biotics after 4 days and told me I would be fine.......I wasn't )
 
THANK YOU ALL so much! JayC thanks for sharing fro sharing your story...I swear I can feel the staples in there. I will resist the temptation to work as long as possible......but.
 
If we are going to start a Knuckle head ........I mean knuckle boom club, let's not limit it to kboom owners only! Let's include people who are thinking of getting one or just have interest in knucklebooms whether they work with them or not.
 
Makes you wanna put his head under an outrigger and push the down button. Good luck Mike, I think your starting to get a line up of helper operators. You know, just till you get back on your feet.

Awful to here you got an unprofessional surgeon. Must be nice to be home. Hope you heal up quick. Good luck
 
Emergency job last Monday forced me back to work.....a lil' soon. Knocked the dust off petzyl swing to take weight off my abdomen. (don't like the Swing but given my condition it helped me SLAP down some trees this wk). Any new photos David? I bet you're getting more and more used to running the 655!
 
Nice pictures! So can we see the chart for your boom? Those low angle far picks are pretty impressive.
