Re: Joey Cornell with NRAT/IRAT?
I just got this from Tim Walsh:
Joey Cornell passed away on Sunday, January 16 of a heart attack. He was about a week shy of his 41st birthday.
Joey was a passionate, generous person who only wanted to make a difference. He spent time, energy and a lot of his own money to try to help others. He trained Arborists, military, police, fire and rescue personal. He even toured in Iraq to work to keep soldiers from being wounded and killed from IED's.
I don’t think that he knew, or accepted how many people he affected, how much of a difference he had already made in his lifetime. He always wanted to do more, to give more. Even if he had known what he had accomplished, he would still have wanted to do more.
In speaking to friends after his passing, all had stories about the crazy stuff that he did. Joey was always full of energy, always trying to have fun. It was hard to be around Joey and not laugh, to not have fun. He always got the most out of life, he was always living large.
Joey was a good person, a great friend to many, and will be missed dearly.
Be at peace brother.
