Isuzu Trucks?

A local landscape company is selling several Isuzu NQR dumps for decent prices. Does anyone use these for chipper trucks? How do they compare to the Ford F-550s?

We have an auxiliary isuzu NPR where I currently work, with a chip body. It is great, obviously the NPR has less power than an NQR, but turning radius and ease of driving is fantastic! IMO cabovers are the bee knees.

If you want really small trucks, then the N-series would do well.

However, I would not suggest the N-series Isuzu Truck, if you want higher GVW and more horse power. I've got the FRR and it has a 19 cubic yard chip box.

You can't hold that much chips in a N-series.

Our truck has been very impressive with reliability. I bought it with 124k miles and I have nearly 180k miles on it. It has been a faithful work horse!

Im not really sure how their product line works. It looks as though they have changed their ratings from what they used to be. Would the NQR be equivalent to an f-550? I want to keep the fleet around this size as we work in the city quite often and mostly do preservation work.
