isuzu frr chip truck?

hey old monkey, is that the 14 gvw fuso? every bump, huh? didn't know that. am concerned about my little chipper (bandit 65) being thrashed in the suspension department by a bigger/stiffer truck already. hmm.

I don't know what the 4 cyl. NPR's are like, but I am glad I got the FRR.

yeah, i sort of decided the npr wasn't heavy duty enough too. the frr i drove supposedly barely notices a full load of wood in a 12 ft box. has a rear mounted cable hoist thingie (?) too, which he says can handle pretty good sized logs.

so you have a tarp over the box or something to keep the chps from flying? are ladders side-mounted?
k.

Ha Roger, we got nearly the same truck, sounds like you paid a pretty penny for it though!

No, this one is an LBox, and diesel...worth a few thou more than a walk in cab...the additional 5 yards of capacity is a must....that's why I sprung when Lonnie got a couple in, even though they're older.
But the turn radius does suck, compared to the TopKick. Other than that the truck is far better, better rear end, tranny, and, of course, diesel.

I'm gonna try to sell the Gas Topkick for 10k-11.5k

The guy is smoking crack if he think he'll get $20K!!!! I'd offer him no more then $7.5K. But then again I'll never buy a truck with over 80,000 miles on it so........

The Fuso is a nice truck and is great for tight areas, but is top heavy (4x4) and I personally would rather have a F550 after having both.

That model is quite good Kathy far superior than any of the models sugested above,ALOT more turning circle and less maintanence in the long run.

Always consider hino as well,or fuso/mitsubishi there the biggest corporation on earth for a reason.
