ISC Hauler Biner

Steve, there are 3 standard sizes for the Haulerbiner at 1.05m, 1.65m, and 3.0m. Custom lengths are also available up to and including a 15m set designed for bucket rescue for utility crews.

Delrin self lubricating sheaves. While this reduces our pulley efficiency a bit on lifting it actually has the positive effect of allowing much more control during the lowering which is one of the reasons why this kit is so ideal for pick off rescues.

image.webp image.webp Mammut has something similar called the Rescyou that they market for crevasse rescue, either self rescue or pulling someone else up. I guess it depends on who is wearing the device on their harness.

It has two ascenders built in that are marked for 8 mm-11mm rope use. I've played around with it and it very easy to set up and and have no problem raising myself just using one hand to pull.

It packs up small, is self contained and has a small hook that attaches to your harness to keep from loosing it.

Reviving and old tread here after watching the latest TreeStuff Webinar.
Anyone know which length was used on the Webinar?
I’m guessing the smallest version, would that be the best size for pick off rescues or maybe the next size up for just a few $ more?

Bumping again because it's on sale today.

I've heard it isn't allowed in comps for aerial rescue pick-offs because it doesn't meet ANSI standards. Anyone hear differently?

I got that. I strung 300’ of 1/4” polyester double braid on it. Just for MA to pull leaning trees over.
16KN. It’s good enough for NFPA single person pickoffs, but not ANSI Z133 life support.

I’m not sure that 16KN is the biner/pulleys. It might just be the 1/4” rope.

I really can't remember what the issue was. Either the overall strength rating, or the working load limit, or the 6 mm line it comes with. Whatever it was, it wasn't allowed to be used by the head tech at the comp.
