All of you "idiots" have a good day! (Again, Sarcastic humor being used. Please don't take me literally. I'm just having fun with Mr. Tree's comment).

I'll be laughing at that one for a while.

Thanks for that link, I've not seen that before but it demonstrates very well the real difficulties in designing and managing a test as broad and as international as the ISA cert arb exam.

I think often we get ourselves confused by relating the ISA CA with our local or regional issues and recurring problems in our industry and profession. For example from what I've been told by those who've sat it (both failed and passed) the MCA MA Cert Arb is much more of the kind of test that critics of the ISA CA are looking for; ie it is extremely intensive demanding and requires a great deal more specific application. But that is the point ISA can't make it so specific because of the differences across the different continents.

I'm very jealous of you MCA guys, wish we had a similar bench mark here in Oz. Props to all who have gone through the process.

I still haven't seen any ISA financials ... why aren't you members coughing it up?

Revenue from sources broken down and expenditure thanks.

[/ QUOTE ]Maybe because we don't like getting randomly heimliched. It's on page 16 of the annual report. tax filing info is also available to members. Eric the goals of the isaac are the same as yours; why not join?

Sean, yes thanks for seeing that questions that are hard yet fair are a challenge to make. Anyone who wants to compose some are encouraged to contact the Cert committee.
