Irrigation water distilled from the air

I wonder how this could be adapted so that it would provide water to tree roots?

Tom,

Thank you for an excellent reference.

The copper wool inside the copper tubing is ingenious, but adaptations to supply roots invariably bumps into real shortcomings; i.e., how much water can be produced relative to plant needs.

The initial smart idea should be coupled to a series of other smart innovations; simplicity should be joined to other simplicities.

Dewpoints are part of the laws of physics and are utilized in many ways. Water requirements of plants follow the laws of biology, which easily ramp up with laws of scale. In an honest overview, this is a remarkably complicated and expensive tree-gator if it doesn't generate enough water for the target plants.

Distribution beyond the invention is the next issue. Going any distance appears to require a pumping mechanism, which is not a complaint, but is instead an opportunity for additional innovation.

It's great start and deserves our compliments.
