Ipad app recommendations

I'm looking for an ipad app that a young septuagenerian might use to create onsite work orders. He's not computer savvy, but he's also no dunce.

Ideally (I think) it would allow him to take, integrate, and annotate (i.e., draw upon) photos, and, while off-line, create job-specific work orders that could later be emailed to me with all the pertinent instructions. It'd be a plus if it could also create invoices for the client, sync with my google calendar, and organize client info. I'd be happy to learn of other features that I should be looking for.

What's out there and how much should I be paying for it?

While I'm at it, does anyone recommend any ipad apps for tracking solar movement at residential sites? It'd be neat if I could tell client, in winter, exactly what limbs have to go if her tomatoes, or solar panels, are to get full sun in summer.

Thanks.

I would start with Jobber for quoting and tracking clients/scheduling. There are note taking apps you can use with your camera. I have a Samsung tab s that I use, and I use the built in draw function through the camera app. I think evernote may be available for apple devices as well.

I use jobber for all of my quoting, and customer tracking. Then it syncs with QuickBooks to do the book keeping.

P.s. I never thought of using an app to track solar movements, I would image there is one out there. I think after a year or two you should be able to get a pretty good feel for an area, that's not as scientific.

And jobber does sync its calander to google calendars, though I just sync mine directly to my calander and agenda widget apps on my phone and tablet.

Definitely apps out there for Sun tracking, I use Sun Surveyor on an Android, I'm sure you can get it for ipads. We use Jobber as well, it's best for the cost (around $30/month minimally). It doesn't have the drawing capabilities built in, which would be nice, but can interface with other things.

Oh, but jobber won't work offline, and I haven't seen anything out there that does work offline unless you start into the $150/month range, not quite worth it unless you have multiple crews etc.
