I have recommended this remarkable series of identification booklets previously.
I paid $2 many years ago; I think the price has increased dramatically to ~$4.

Very small simplistic looking "pocket" size booklet, but Don't underestimate it.

The series uses drawings & logic charts to quickly lead to an ID.
e.g. if yes, go here; if no, go there.

After an initial ID, I may get added info from lots of other tree references.
