I Fell Today...

Wake up call.

Yep. I gotta respect that I work aloft. And that every piece of gear works together. Also, that the elements we work in can/will effect how our gear works too.

Good to hear you came out with only a bump to the head.

The "bump on the head" was just speculation of what could have happened if I didn't have a hard hat on.

I had on my noggin protector.

Well thats what i meant. I always assume a hard hat is in place. I feel naked without one.

Jamin glad to hear your O.K. Crappy time of year to be working and a lot of us are anxious to get out and work and a good reminder to stay safe. And yeah it sucks when you screw up and the customer sees it.

Ouch.... Last time I was climbing in snow like that was 2= 90' red oaks. Did the first one double tip to the second, I listened to the voice and decided I was wet enough. The next would've been hypothermia. Got down and into the truck. Good thing I did cuz that's when I realized just how cold I was.

Caught a break there Jamin'. Good one. Always load that hitch before you commit to it!

Re: I Fell Today...

Wow!! Glad to hear you are okay. I can't imagine climbing in snow. I come from a team where even if it starts to sprinkle, we come down and call it a day. Of course I guess that's a SO CAL thing. On the news, if there are clouds in the sky, they call it a STORM WATCH and turn on the live dopler.
I admire you guys that have to endure those extreme conditions. If I had to work like that, I think I might never get that little voice out of my head. Take care out there!
