Husqvarna Demo Deal

Picked up the 346XP on this demo deal. Ends up being 15% off the reg. price. Try it out. got the 20" bar for blocking down wood. The deal is you don't pay now, you use it for 120 days then pay for it. Not bad the guy said he's getting in the climbing saws soon.

How soon?

Just had one of my local husky dealers call husky USA and ask them for a release date? Husky said they have no release date yet on their new 540XP climb saws.

I wonder if their mufflers will also rattle off and fracture like all four of my 200T's have?

I certainly have high hopes they won't.

Wow never had that happen to my 200T's and I got 6 of them. I know I got a problem. Just bought another 3120 when I got the 346, WoW what a Saw!

When the muffler, exhaust port and bolts that hold the muffler on are different kinds and grades of metals. They expand and contract during heating and cooling at different rates. Over time this slowly causes the bolts to loosen and back out.

Or so I've been told by more than one chainsaw mechanic. They also both said my habit of working my200T's so hard during removals and turning them off, then starting them again so often exacerbated my muffler loosening problem. They suggested letting them idle between cuts kept them cooler with less ups and downs in temperature of the varying muffler and barrel components.

It's funny to me that my ancient 020 SuperAV never suffered from muffler rattle of syndrome like all my 200T's have though.

Was at the dealer and asked when, he didn't know exactly possible late summer early fall. Asked about demo and he said YEP! so I will get one for 15% off. Don't know what that will be yet.
