Husky Hangalls

Been here much more than a while
I bought these Husky Hangalls at Home Depot in three sizes... SMALL ($5), MEDIUM ($6) and LARGE ($7) and I'm very impressed with the weight they'll hold, 100 lbs., 200 lbs. and 300 lbs., respectively.

They come with the galvanized, snaggle tooth 'biner clips that are not fiber friendly, but I replaced those with more appropriate 'biners. The small size is perfect for putting the velcro loop around the handle of your midsize chainsaw, and you can clip the lanyard onto the built in swivel. For the monster saws, the medium size might be a better choice. At these prices, you can put one on every saw and just leave them on there.

The stem of the swivel is the same on all of them, only the D ring part is larger as you go up in size, so if your 'biner fits one, it will fit them all. Great for carrying ropes up into the tree or hanging them up in the shop.

All are shown with loop adjusted to smallest size.

Though they'd get disgusting in the saw box.

What? You mean, you don't keep your saws wrapped in a beach towel, in their own duffel bag, with one of those pinetree air fresheners, "Touch this and you die!" embroidered on the duffel bag, and a nasty-tempered Rottweiler chained to the bag?
