Craig and Butch,

How about posting a step by step set of instructions for me/us?

I was digging through a box of pictures and found a few that I've wanted. Once I get the cd's transfered and pics scanned I'll see about adding them to the forum.

Thomas,

To embed a pic in a thread it has to be on the web already. You can upload it as an attachment off of your computer though.

That being said, here is how to embed an image:
Right click on any image on the web, copy it's location , click on "image" in the instant ubb code area (of the posting area) and paste the image location.

Let us not forget the plight of the the dial-up-ers.

Keep those imbedded photos at a reasonable size. Those motorcycle pics look large (though very nice!) and they might load quite slowly for Glen!

The only way I've been able to do it is for a photo that is already online, like has been already stated. This is a fast way to steal information from Arboristsite!!!!

Ok, seriously, another trick I do sometimes

is to put the photo on a post as an attachment.
Submit the post.
Now right click the attachment,
Click "Edit"
Now follow the directions Craig already stated, clicking the "Image" button and pasting the location!

Tom (et all),

To post a pic you need to find it on the web (anywhere, even a post or attach.) and r-click it. Click on properties. Then copy the address to the image (http:?...). Make your post and then click on the "image" icon. A pop-up appears w/ http:/, click control and v to paste the properties. Then enter. And there it is. Like this:

Mark,

Maybe we should have the tomhead added to the graemlins.

No offense meant to you Tom. If I offended you please let me know and I'll edit in Mark's face to my post.

Tom,

Are you one of "those people" who leaves the plastic on your furniture? It kinda looks that way in the photo! /forum/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /forum/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
