I was the one asking Jim about an alternative to the Unicender, the LineBoss came up in our conversation. IF I had to pick I will be going for the Unicender.

BUT there is something GOOD that has come out of this thread, Holly DOESN't HATE it!!!! LOL

The Lineboss is only good with DRT. No SRT. It is smooth. I tried it at the TCIA Expo.

But, the designer is a thinker. I bet he will make variations and improvements to make this a good item to have.

I used the Lock Jack Sport (in the past) and that was too much of a uncontrolled thrill ride for me.

The Lineboss gives a confident feeling to it.

Just so ya'll know.... I hate you guys so much.

I tried it years ago at the tci show. Back then it didn't make sense because of how fast and easy spiking trees was. Now I think back and it was nice but pricey. If your payin that kind of money I'd go with a uni. No reason to spend the same amount of money for a tool that doesn't give you the versatility (drt and srt) as a uni.

It's meant as an alternative to the lockjack.
