Here is my custom RG. Only cost around $100 to make, saving me $193 when compared to the normal RG.

Just wondering drew how long does it take you to set it from the ground?Also would it be alot faster just to ascend to the top and install it then?Ranger have you had any problems with the prussik passing thru the large ring and getting stuck?Just asking because i used a similiar setup a few years ago and it would tend to get stuck.One remedy i had was adding more coils in the prussik or even snapping in a caribiner thru one of the loops on the prussik,it then prevented the prussik from passing thru the large ring.eventually I abandoned the rope guide all together because it got stuck so much.I started tieing the pulley directly on one side of my ascess line(ddbl rope) and a alpine butterfly on the other and ran the pulley thru it making a retrievable rope guide from the ground off the ascess line-it never got stuck.

I haven't had a problem like you're describing yet, but I can see where that would be an issue. I have had some retrieval issues, but I've worked out a lot of the kinks.
