home made adjustable friction saver

A Friend of mine cut the rings off my old friction saver and spliced me an adjustable friction saver with a tenex and a piece of XTC rope has anyone spliced their own and have you found any problems with it.

Just finished splicing one together. It's quite nice but i took the rope diameters a bit to big. 14mm for the eye sling and 12mm for the hitch cord. It turned out to be a bit of a bulkey contraption.it would serve King Kong well.

i really like the idea tho, what diameters did you use? What length did you give the the hitch cord?

we used a piece of 13mm xtc fire climbing rope for my eye sling and a 12 mm prusik tenex for my hitch cord my friend jus finished it today ive yet to try it jus getting some feedback im going to try it tomarrow morning see how she goes i agree tho it is quite bulky

I've made bunches of them. Some people keep ordering them from me after they wear theirs out. I think you'll like it, but it all depends on your personal style.
