Ok so I got this call today. Put a big whole in the roof. Gonna be doing it Monday.

What the hell do people expect, that a dead tree won't fall or do damage? My next door neighbor has 2 dead pines in his back yard that he refuses to have cut. I've even offered to drop them for him. Yet he is a complete asshole about his grass. He will mow right where his wife just mowed because her lines aren't straight enough.

You got that right Swing. In a place that is the back door to hell, people will cut down trees and remove shade just to grow grass. Makes no sense to me, I like cool, I like shade, and I hate to push a lawnmower.

Idiocracy, stupidity, and ignorance seem to be in the water these days Swing. I myself need a few days a month where I completely disengage from the human race and connect with something bigger. This is why the dog and I are gonna spend this day way back in the woods breathing in the rarified purified air of old growth Reds and Firs, napping down near the creek, and regaining a little perspective!

Man, the whole gulf area is covered in them. I was kind of disappointed at the lack of diversity for about ten of the twenty hours that it took to drive to windamere.

It is a beautiful tree, but it's not exceptional around those parts.

I wish I was kidding. There was no avoiding it. The tree was coming down. I might get as well be the guy who did it. As least it got done safely and professionally.
