Holiday Lighting

Nice article in Lawn and Landscape about Tom Dunlap's company Swingle doing holiday lighting. Anybody else doing this type of work?

i used to do a huge pine tree in n.e.philly. the guy left the lights in year round witch meant that we spent most of the time tracing and splicing wires. huge pain in the ass!

Tom Dunlap's "former" company :)

We split paths last week. I'm unemployed for the first time since pre-college. A very weird feeling. Anyone looking for a really good groundie, I have my own rake :)

Decor season was a lot like storm season. The work load goes from nothing to 70% to 100% very quickly. Lots of little details need to be be dealt with at a moment's notice. In the end, what Decor does for the company is fill the slack at that time of year. It keeps a full time paycheck in place for people that might get laid off. We all know what happens when people get laid off, they go looking for a job some where else and we lose our investment.

Jeeze, Tom, you cashing in on some bad Karma or what? First getting booted from Arboristsite and then losing your job. They say bad things come in threes...

No wonder Tom's number of posts have increased recently.
Just think with all the /forum/images/graemlins/bling.gif your getting from this site you don't have to work anymore, well not until next week anyway.

Any big plans for the occupational Hiaetis(excuse the spelling)? Maybe we can get you out here to Point to speak for our SSA? we've got a big group, and you know you miss Rich. /forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif nudge nudge
