Hobbies outside of Work

Rich is a skateboarder. He tears it up at the local park. I am a longboarder. I got one to rock to class when I was in college and loved it but haven't done much lately.
 
I used to live to skate, but that was 20 years ago. I miss those days.

These days the closest thing to a hobby is writing music with a Canadian friend of mine, here's our latest tune. We jam in a studio every second monday or so, he sings (drums) when recording, me - guitar/bass.

It provides a welcome break from chainsaws and chippers.

I have kind of a long list and have done MANY over the last 6 or 7 years. I would say most of my time is spent fishing. I Fly fish, surf cast, skish (floating in a wetsuit with fins and a fishing rod while fishing for stripers) fish for bass/pike and tie all my own flies. Used to spear fish. My girlfriend and I are in to just about anything outdoors from hiking to riding quads and dirt bikes. Another money pit hobby is building Jeeps/Buggies. We don't have a rig right now but wifey just bought a Jeep Liberty and are thinking it might be fun to build because you don't really see any trail capable liberys around.

Grover that is some pretty good music. I like the most recent one the best. I have been into chill type music lately.

I have been fishing a lot lately as well. Always enjoyed it just didn't do much of it as a kid. Was in the woods more often.
 
Been skating for years, not so much anymore as broken bones hinder working ability. Started as a long boarder, fun to cruise and bomb huge hills. Always loved skating vert, felt the most like surfing. Surf. Snowboard. Skate.
can't go wrong with sector 9 or arbor longboards!
 
I spend plenty of free time out on the water bass fishing, and wake boarding with my boat. When I get the time I also like to hit the range for some shooting, rifle/pistol it don't matter any trigger time is good for me. Since I got to school my hobby of archery has grown with me now competing on the school team. Anyone else out here shoot?
 
I started collecting guns and shooting a few years ago. I enjoy Sporting Clays when the weather is cooler and indoor target shooting during the hot summer months. I also do some hog hunting now and then.

Case in point" My first sold and published image was in 1983, of two buds skiing in the patrolled backcountry of Crystal Mt. Unofficial name of the line is Orgasm Meadows.

Ski to die, die to ski.

These days, I'm not skiing enough, nor finding time to market my images, which keep getting better.

For some reason the vid below looks much tamer than when I was there many years ago when you had to jump off a twenty foot vertical cliff just to get started down the run!
