Hobbies outside of Work

Go Jimmy and Grover! all you guys do some cool stuff and do it well. great shot of the woodpecker and grub. I am a basketball junkie, give me any kind of ball and I am entertained all day. I love the snow and ice, was deprived this year for the most part. no skis, skates or ice fishing. Been transferring my court time to fishing. easier on the knees. have started swimming as well. I love climbing trees. I have a hard time going to work a lot.

Just about to start my third year it the HRL. This wiffleball league has been around for 8 years now and I believe it is the longest running organized league ever. There are over a hundred people in a total of 20 teams. In case you are wondering I am the long haired beaded guy on the front page. Everyone in the league gets called by a nickname and they call me beardface. Here is my career stats page, I was the only pitcher to not lose a game during the season and playoffs last year.

Marlinspiker, it is MANDATORY that you commit to spending at least some time each week to standing in a river and waving a stick, especially since you live so close to said river. It is an ANSI requirement! Before I moved south I lived in central PA and had 5 world class wild trout streams within 40 minutes from my front door. The closest one was 15 minutes away. I always had my gear with me and always took time to fish at least once a week. I always ask myself why I moved.

I to am a Basketball jones.

I really should hop back on the skateboard, it's just sitting in my man shed. I haveb't done anything stupid with her in a good 6 years or so, I bet the pressurecracks are just ready to explode. I really want to try longboarding, since I think the bone breaking factor would be way less (and I used to fly down a few of the big hills in the area on a normal deck, so I'd love the extra control and no speed wobble).
At one point I was ridiculously into hackysack, I get the feeling a bunch of you were too, looking at some of the responses to this thread. Reverse inverted jester anyone? haha

I am a guitar man myself, I am not very good but I love rocking out the acoustic or electric. Need more of a musical crew to jam with around here, most of my old buddies have packed up and moved away.
