Hitch Hiker question

I recently purchased a Ropetek Hitch Hiker 2 unit. My only real question is: How difficult is untying one of the stopper knots to remove the unit from the climb line at the end of the day? Is it tougher after climbing SRT than Ddrt? I like removing my friction hitch after my climbs to inspect and store but I'm worried removing the hitch cord will be difficult after climbing on it.

I don't get the chance to regularly climb much anymore so it may be a bit before I get to put this through its paces. Any insight from the group?

Once you get it dialed in Phil if your on one climbing rope, you can put a lark on the hitch line. That way next time you have a good spot to line up for the stopper stop. It's not fool proof but it makes a good starting point.

this stuff?

Correct that is the stuff. The stuff that sticks like a rock. I am not saying the tool is the problem this one is totally operator error. I don't know weather more wraps may help.

I'm using the same cord on tachyon,I would try and just not tie it as tightly, that's what i had to toy with upon first use. Little too tight and it suks, tends like boo boos also, lil too loose and...Idk maybe you already tryed this ,but to me it seems like there is a sweet spot in between. Hope you get it sorted.

Me too, I was thinking more wraps may help too distribute things a little more evenly. I will try legging the hitch out a little further. This SRT thing is quite rewarding with the increased progress up the three
