Well I finally bought a hitch climber yesterday. This morning I realized that I recently cut the eye off my climbing line because of a few nicks in I just didnt trust. So after setting a line to try this thing out I figured out that my termination knot was interfering with my hitch cord. I then looked at the hitch climber guide and they dont recommend a knot for termination.
So, with that being said: Is my only option to buy a new rope with an eye, or is there a way around this problem? I have thought about splicing a new eye but have had a heck of a time splicing used line.
Any help is much appreciated!
