Good Evening all

Hope this is a good spot to introduce myself. I've been a long time lurker but this is my first post. I like reading and learning from all you folks that take time to post on this forum and the other 1. First off- Im a weldor/Fab guy 8-5 that enjoys the climbing & tree work on weekends and when ever I have the opportunity. I'm a Professional in training Joking
Just thought I'd say hello before asking 100 questions.
I'm in Chesapeake VA if anyone is local and likes to share knowledge

Rope & SRT ascending gear- so many choices, I would go broke test them all. As it is now I bought a new "Old style" saddle. Because that's what the only local place sells.

@Walt welcome. This info is on a recent thread. Sounds like you also need a visit to the rope wrench / hitch cord / rope compendium thread, which is stuck at the top of the climbing section of the forum, I believe... Additionally, maybe let us know your budget and you'll get bettet answers? hth, Jon

Hey, neighbor! Make sure to check out the TREE PARTY at ODU when it's rescheduled. Also, the best shop I've found anywhere close to here is K & M in Culpeper. Their website isn't extensive, but walking into their showroom was like entering a candy store. There's another place a little north of them called Arbor Tech.
