Headed to Western Australia

Hey my wife and I are headed to WA for a month beginning Dec 16th. I am looking for some tree geeks over there. One of my hopes is to explore the Karri forest down near Pemberton it is the second tallest canopy in the world. Any advice or contacts from the buzzers?

Scott while I was at the ISA conference this summer I met some Aussies.. Be honest I don't remember their names but the ISA can hook you up with the Austrailian Chapter President he owns a tree company I believe in Sydney..good luck, have fun, be safe.

pray for a good crop but keep hoeing

Thanks for all the advice.

Am now in contact with a couple of ISA CA arborists in WA.

Will definately be hitting the famous old fire lookout trees which are accessed with ladders attached to the trees and the canopy walkway.

I saw the design drawings for the walkway iaers ago while looking at a simiar project ion the redwoods with tree houser Michael Garnier and my son has been there once.

We shall see if I get my wish to climb a big Karri tree.

More advice and contacts please!
