has anyone climb the with the equipment called the wraptor

Its awesome but hurry up and get it if you are going to. There are only a few left because Tanka, the motor manufacturer has discontinued production of that specific motor. I think last time Paul (pctree) was on here he had maybe 12 left. It's awesome, wish I had one but for the work I do I can't really justify the expense. It's certainly a body saver for sure.

Ok it looks like like my guys will happy we no bucket trucks this will be the closest thing and I can go with a bucket can't go

It's a little more setup time (set up wraptor, ascend, set up working system send wraptor back to ground). It's great for the tall ones or multi-day removals... a no brainer for a company with no lifts. That way you won't think twice about taking lunch on the ground :).

It's a great device! Being able to put a climber at...and back at.. a tie in point whenever you wish makes an incredible change in work flow. If you're trying to justify the expense, I'd respectfully suggest flipping the telescope. The Ropetek Wraptor will make you money. It's not just a matter of longevity in the industry. It increases production. It allows the reapportionment of climbing energy to production tasks. More production=more revenue. Much like a mini skid, it's one of those pieces of equipment that, once you own one, you spend the first 3 months mentally kicking yourself in the backside for not buying it much sooner.

Under "General Discussion", the 'thread/topic' "Wraptor to soon be unavailable."

I love mine too. Especially for multiple trees I'm going up 80ft or some such just to cut a broken limb or two.
