It’s hot in the summer but I wear mine all the time. I do take it off to cool my head off while in the tree. I also let my help take them off to cool down as long as their not underneath a drop zone

Saw this on FB. Great job. Taking it off to cool down in the summer is fine when the work is halted. It's putting it on in the first place that too many seem to struggle with.

It was pure self preservation. We were in this really strange grove yesterday with big dead limbs raining down on us all day, trying to kill us. Had to break out the trusty old SkullBucket! I figured you guys would get a kick out of the picture

Rain, rain, rain, and maybe a little tradition. But mostly rain, it keeps it out out of your face and from coming down the back if your neck.

They should try ading a strap to them and see how that goes. Wildfire hard hats are the same and it was annoying because they were either always falling off, or tight enough to give you a headache
