Pulled this hanger for the Line Clearance contractor today. It was about 6" over an open secondary.

We used 7 load lines to stabilize the load 4 of them going to GRCS,s. We lifted it up to releave all of the tension. I had to peice out a little brush Them Me and oune other climber made 4 aerial cuts. We only had 2 ground men.

The ground man was operating 2 GRCS,s at the same time to drift the loads off the wires and into the landing zone.

Tod,

What the devil was that guy doing in the tree?

Good job. Doing a complex job like that with the staff you had is a compliment to the training and depth of education you have in your team. That isn't a job that anyone could do with an inexperienced crew.

Tip my hat to you, sir!

Thanks Tom. We had a great crew. Having the 4 GRCS,s made it possiable for the 2 ground men to handle the load lines. They could raise one line while lowering and drifting another at the same time. It took around 2 hours to set up all of the rigging and 45 minutes to get it on the ground.
