Loraxx, I really don't think that you created yourself based on the fact that I mentioned the Dr. Seuss character. It's a pretty pervasive theme in tree preservation, so I'm not surprised.
I get frustrated when I see poor workmanship, just like anyone else does, but I agree with Noel that it's important to focus on ourselves, and to try to make the industry better, rather than call out companies one by one. Here in RI everyone knows who they are anyway.
Your comparisons are too extreme to use for this subject. Doctors sign the Hippocratic oath. Police are sworn to protect and serve. Molesting children is a heinous crime, and a felony.
I get your point, but I disagree. There have been other threads that address poor work in our industry and what can be done about it, and the idea of free workshops for non ISA/TCIA companies was mentioned. I think this is the right path to take rather than pointing fingers and calling people out. The reality is that the enforcement of poor tree work is weak, anyway.
