I understand red delicious is a proper apple... although I think it was PUClimber that said he was partial to pears... or was that Big Show?

I can make my own grits, I'm partial to heavy garlic and cheese in'em... I might make a convert out of ya Scotty.

I'll be impressed if the disco crew breaks it down in full regalia one night... is Jeff coming?
 
Grits with garlic and cheese eh? Hmmmmm I think that sounds like a good combination to me. I can't wait till January. Get out of the cold Indiana weather to hangout in warmer weather with a good group of tree guys, eat some good fish.

Also is there a different rule book for the geezers or is it mainly the ITCC rule book with some time and heighth mods?

I'm not sure about age brackets. It's starting to sound complicated for the scorers-no offense to them- I'm sure their capable, but keeping it simple feels best to me.

The scoring is still made simple even with the brackets. It's a matter of the Urban legend using his masterful skills on the computer to make some mods to his current scoring system and poof it's like magic. I have to admit that when it comes to the scoring he's the man. Watching him work in KY was like poetry in motion.

gee talking to my self is fun at time. even yelling "OPPS" when i take a swing is fun - OH YA i did not say that - but what ever i said did draw attention and gee that was so much fun on friday that i did it twice on the climb on saturday - hey did that make it on tv or just me smile when i was on the start.

46-52 - 3 extra points
53 - 20 extra points
54-up -5 extra points

per event

PLUS 10 bonus points if you are a girl
PLUS 20 for the best looking bow worn in the tree
plus 30 point if you are from jersey

are you catching my drift here - i need all the point(ers) i can get.

I am going to take a shot in the dark and guess that Jersey is 53 yrs. old. I think that the brackets could be a good idea but that age isn't the only variable when handicapping climbers. I know a lot of older men and women that would make me look like an idiot in the tree and swing circles around me.
 
I think the official Geezers need to make the decision on how to set up the handicapping or age brackets or if they even want them. I am just a young pup volunteering my time to come help with set up and judging or anywhere else I am needed. This is all in hopes of having a good time as well as helping to get things running smoothly and make sure it's a fun time for all the participants as well. It's like volunteering at an old folks home. I can't wait to see the reactions to that comment.

I heard from Tim Bushnell last night. He for you who don't know is the special adviser at the ITCC. Tim did a really great day of climbing last year, and if we had not run out of day light very well could have walked away with the cup.
Can't wait.

I think that would be fun to try to write a scoring program for that type of age bracket. I would have to write a new logarithm to get it correct, but I take any challenge you guys want to send my way.

I just ask one favor, give me some time, and I don't mean at 12 a.m. day of event after I get done driving 8 hours with Jeff, Simon and EZ's backside. Also if I get an idea of who is competing and their age bracket/handicap, I could set up the score sheets for them and then the Judges will just have to fill in the blanks. Or we could color code the sheets so it would be easy to keep every thing straight. No worries with the scoring, once everyone decides on what they want.

Oh ya, there is one thing that could be a problem. I may have to pull a "Morice". I may not be able to make the trip. I will do everything to get there, but somethings are out of my hands. As we say in Jamaca -- No Problem Mun..

So, PLEASE go vote. This is America...
