Funny to me that you should say that Mark, I have been using the Geckos since they came out. Even own a pair of the Carbon Fiber ones.
They DO gaff out more with me than the Buckinghams or even the Kleins I own. Did'nt even think about it until you said something but now that I think about it, they do gaff out more
Frans

thats probably because the angle is so different, if you dont concentrate each time you spike in, your muscle memory will automatically stick the spike in at a poor angle
i bet if you binned the buckinghams for a couple of months you'd stop gaffing out after a while

I wanted to elicit a little more response on this thread if that's possible. Other than saying "get em", could anyone say how much and why they are better, if you own Geckos and any others, do you use them both and why? Etcetera.
And Frans, do you like the carbon fiber ones any better than the aluminum, or notice much difference?
Thanks.

i have the carbons, i cant see any reason that they'd feel any different to the ali ones when on. theres not that much in the weight. carbon ones look cool....probably the only real reason to go for them

I just ordered a pair of t2s and the aluminum geckos. I'm thinkin' the geckos are going to be the faves. I rarely wear spikes, so there is no muscle memory to relearn.

Does anyone know why they made the gaffs with that funny bend? What's the point?

love
nick
