I anticipate I'll still be using a gas blower. I'm not replacing a $700 blower until it's dead.I think the gas/lithium blower issue will have solved itself in 4 years. Who wants to go on record saying that they'll still be using a gas blower in 4 years? We can time stamp this sh*t and check back.
If we were limited to raking when it came to leaves… we would make much better land management decisions I think.
Rake.. or…What decisions have you considered?
I heard the same about cars and we are still not that close imoI think the gas/lithium blower issue will have solved itself in 4 years. Who wants to go on record saying that they'll still be using a gas blower in 4 years? We can time stamp this sh*t and check back.
I like the let it decompose and go do something else optionRake.. or…
Watch it decompose while I do something else.
Are all of your clients on board with that too?I like the let it decompose and go do something else option
Haha all is a strong wordAre all of your clients on board with that too?
We blow our work area clean before we start so that we don’t have to cleanup a mess that we didn’t createHaha all is a strong word
Not all client nor would most would be onboard , but I don’t clean up leaves unless they’re attached to the limbs we chip or what spills about in the process , I’m a tree surgeon, naturally
I was speaking to my prefer method if I ruled the world
We blow our work area clean before we start
This was my reasoning for tarping under the work zone. I got sick of being the first person to rake in years at some of the college rentals around hereWe blow our work area clean before we start so that we don’t have to cleanup a mess that we didn’t create
It would be a lot cheaper for the homeowners to pay the fine and use our blower rather than paying my Team to rake an extra hourA few paragraphs from the article:

Yup! 80% of our leaves and needles get run over with the Deere yard tractor. Quick, easy, and environmentally friendly. About 10% go into our wooded area and 10% gets burned in the neighbors fire pit.I would say that a lot of people underestimate the efficacy of just mowing. As long as it’s not too wet and the leaves aren’t a foot deep you can just mulch them with a good mower. Chopping speeds decomp and returns nutrients to the soil, as well as keeping your yard ship shape without blowing/raking.
Although I suppose they will ban gas mowers next. Invest now in the state of the art in leaf removal tech- zero emissions!:

Let them be other people's clients if their not. Why should I waste time and energy for someone else's whims. Are all of your clients on board with that too?
