Interesting to see this thread still kicking along…I decided to go with the fuel saver option, just because I find with out private tree working situations, we run into lots of times where unexpectedly I’m not at the chipper when I thought I would be, and it’s far longer than expected (lots of times).
But, funny story (or not so funny). The chipper showed up today at my place and I had big fat check in hand, BUT when the dealer started the chipper with 1.3 hours on it, a big fat !!!! Warning code appeared, and I thought well isn’t that just wonderful! In fact at one point it even flashed a stop code! Yikes, then dealer asked if I wanted to do some paperwork, I said with 1.3hrs on the machine, I don’t think so….”I guess the code as a “very low fuel pressure code” and after a little research, found it can damage the engine? Is that true? Hummm anyway, so back it went, now I’m waiting again
