I’ve been wondering when the tide will shift with goods made locally versus overseas, I am starting to see cheap plastic crap at CVS cost the same or more than artisan goods sold at local craft fairs and farmers markets. Hopefully folks will put 2 and 2 together and start buying their goods locally. I live out in the sticks but within 10 miles I have all the eggs, chicken, lamb, beef, milk, veggies I could ever ask for… and prices have not gone up that much. Cheap factory food has gone up significantly though.

While we have sport with whack-a-doodle talk we’re told that a convicted, but not sentenced, felonious clown is set to be sworn in as president. Unless the Grim Reaper shows up within the next few days the grand experiment with democracy will begin to end.

The republic is supposed to uphold civil liberties... which have been eroding towards tyranny for a long time. Civil liberties took a hard hit with the Patriot act, and it's only been getting worse, with unelected officials calling for the shut down of churches etc.. during the pandemic

I used to latch on to every single thing that outed the US gov as a nefarious org, hellbent on our destruction, but one day. someone very calmly and rationally asked me this same question. I had not, but seeking to disprove the things that you assume to be true is the very foundation of good science. if you aren't rigorously looking at both sides of things, then you are being willfully ignorant. I watched that plum island video, and it looks like something cooked up by someone like you. The evidence presented is circumstantial at best, and almost entirely conjecture. Ticks aren't capable of crossing that much water alone, and why would they release it directly across the water from the lab? Wouldn't that draw a lot of suspicion?
