Fu*%face Von Clownstick

We won’t have to worry about those pesky AR packing white males anymore if she gets elected!

Kicking in doors to check up on us proles. How “progressive”.
Strange, but I didn’t hear Kamala say a word about kicking in doors or taking anyones guns away. Nope. What I did hear her talk about was responsible gun ownership. A little responsibility would certainly have saved lives in the recent school shooting in Georgia where some dumb mutherfucker gifted his young son an AR, and the kid promptly used it to mow down a few students and teachers. Nice try with the fear mongering fake boogie man bullshit though.

And I can’t help but notice your choice of the word “prole”. You do realize that the man you support was born a multi-millionaire, and the woman you continually disparage was born into a working middle class family.

“Just because you legally possess a gun in the sanctity of your locked home doesn't mean that we're not going to walk into that home and check to see if you're being responsible and safe in the way you conduct your affairs.”

-Kamala Harris

I’ll just leave this here for reference. If you’re ok with this then I guess we’re at an impasse.

Whether her jackboots kick my door in or just knock really hard, it’s a previously unimaginable violation of both my 2nd and 4th amendment rights. Maybe while they’re in my room checking for my guns they can arrest me for improper storage of my prescription meds too. Thank God armed bureaucrats will be sorting through my stuff to ensure that I’m conducting my affairs in a responsible, government approved way.

The father in Georgia can rot in hell for being so stupid as to give a 14(?) year old an AR. He’ll likely get to rot in prison for the rest of his life first, as he should. But going door to door to root out pre-crimes? Nah.

Kamala has literally no idea what her policies will be when pressed (to the extent she’s been questioned at all). But when she says her values haven’t changed, I absolutely believe her.

Meanwhile the actual boogie man is here and he is speaking in plain English, so there is not need to put words in his mouth.

Its all about states rights. right?

You need to give thought to the lesser of two evils in that case. Trump is great at saying what his followers want to hear but do you honestly believe he really gives a shite for your rights? We have clearly seen how much respect he has for democracy, our electoral process, or the Constitution. Or the truth in general.

Buck knows damn well nobody is coming to take his guns, but he needs a boogieman to believe in.. For decades the GOP has been telling us that the lefties are gonna take all our guns, yet there are more guns in America than people. Something ain't adding up?

Meanwhile we have Trump who has already tried to overturn/overthrow the will of the people, and was the first president in US history who refused to participate in the peaceful transfer of power. Kind of a bedrock of our democracy..

Fool me once, shame on you...Fool me twice, shame on me..

Dad had my sister and I take the NRA Firearm Safety Class when we were about 11-12, circa 1965 so we could go hunting. Around that time I took my own money to gete a NRA membership to learn about guns from their magazine. I've been hearing this line about 2A since then. I dropped the membership because it had no benefit to me. Even then, roughly 60 years ago I could tell that they were making up a boogie man under the bed to create money. Pffff

There have been so very few laws past to do any good.

It doesn’t even matter that Kamala is on Oprah saying she’s Yosemite Samantha - the right still plays this ol song and everyone whistles along.

We actually don’t have any mainstream candidates doing anything about gun violence and I don’t expect we will for a decade or so.

The worst part is that MAGA doesn't end after the election, whether they win or lose. These fools won't just come to their senses. If he were to win, they'd wanna see as much of project 2025 rolled out as possible, but when he loses, they will freak the fuck out. Hopefully this time, they won't try to stage another coup, but I'm not holding my breath.

Call me an optimist, but I think maga will slowly fade if trump looses.
That would be great but I think it is more likely they will just go back to being quieter about it. The racism, bigotry, ignorance, etc. has always been here from day one. Trump just made it OK and acceptable for it to come out into the open, to even be proud of it. In some ways, it perhaps seems safer with it in the open and more easily identifiable, rather than insidiously hiding right below the surface. But it has indeed been quite a shock to see how widespread and pervasive this MAGA BS is. The parallels with Germany in the Thirties are frightening. All that is missing is a massive depression and the sort of runaway inflation and privation that hit them then, and like we saw later in modern times with Zimbabwe. Instead of coming together to address problems, far too many Americans become violent very quickly and are immediately ready to lay blame elsewhere any time the going gets tough. Far too many Americans fail to recall that our cultural diversity has always been a cornerstone of the American experience and actually one of our strengths. We should, and could, represent the very best of every culture this country was built from, but often we represent the worst elements too. When we toss into the mix a totally pathetic level of average literacy and education below that of most Third World countries, it is all too clear how we can so easily end up with a Trump in the White House.
