I am sure that you are now aware that the 1918 flu lasted 3 years and had 2 waves in 1918, another wave in 1919, and a finale wave in 1920. In all it killed 675,000 Americans.

Fast forward to 2020 and America lost over 400,000 Americans in a years time, and Trump's reign of carnage was way ahead of schedule compared to prior pandemics.

To be fair, population is a HUGE factor. In 1918 the US population was 103 million. In 2020 it was 330 million. Do the math.

Of course the death toll was going to be proportionally higher.
