View attachment 29056 Here's the 550 and dump trailer.
I'm planning on becoming a dealer for the grapple saw. 33.5" grapple, 14" saw, continuous rotation. I'll use it for processing and loading trees with my 6t excavator. I can fit the excavator and my 7015trx in the dump trailer in one load. In theory, I should be able to fit a Boxer or Avant between the gooseneck hitch and the cab.
That is a real pretty truck but my bc2000 would cough out about that much with 1 leader or a pine top.

Vetster it will hold a med pine no prob brotha, just not a large one...but if I make a couple local dump trips it not a problem, still cheaper than using a big truck IMHO especially if dump on site....Oh, thanks for the Pretty part lol![]()

Ahhh, it's great to talk trucks.... Here's my first chip truck. 89 F700 w/ 429 gas engine, 2wd 5spd w/ split rear end, PTO dump, 14.5ft bed. It goes, very slow. I've had it two years now and have been fixing it up slowly. Not sure about it yet, it's left me stranded a couple times, it's not fun to drive, but it can hold a decent amount of tree and has done good overall.

I'll probably keep the old girl around and run her for what she is, but hopefully soon I'll get something a little newer... I've been leaning towards Dodge.
Pretty...in a manly man way ofcourse ...Blacky ;-)
The 6.0 stock is a good engine with some bad parts, I believe it came down to a disagreement and ultimately a separation between International and Ford. So the EGR, fuel regurgitation device, fails thus creating stress on the cooling system thus creating head expansion and stress ends up blowing gaskets and stretching head bolts. So, if this truck has not been "fixed" yet then plan on spending $3-5 K on deleting or replacing the EGR and replacing the bolts with studs. Honestly, once the 6.0 is repaired it's is all balls, unstoppable, like International's 6.0. The mileage shown in the ad means it is about to need this fix or its already been fixed. Seems like a solid deal if it has been repaired but you might have some haggling room if it hasn't. Another consideration is if you have a good diesel mechanic in your part of VT. The 6.0 I owned seemed to have less of a hard time starting in the cold, never had to plug it in.So, everyone agrees that the 6.0 is a bad engine? I am not a gear head when it comes to trucks. I want to jump in, and drive them, period. I have all my trucks maintained by a local garage. They are great.

Don't you guys in Cali have to start out with gassers? Diesel costs a ton to register and deal with the emission stuff
We have a 5.9 cummins in a F-650. I will look for another 5.9 cummins when I need another truck.
