Nice! How does the chickpea rotini compare to normal pasta? The honey and garlic combination sounds interesting, I don’t think it’s something I would have tried but it sure looks good!
Definitely a different texture, hard for me to describe the difference. I prefer normal pasta but I'm trying out some lower carb alternatives.

The honey garlic marinade combo is great IMO, and would be equally as good on a dish with other proteins. Easy to make too!

Stir Fry - Chile Crisp w/ Shrimp, Green beans, & Noodles
Based on New York Times, Cooking recipes – 1/3/22: (modified)

Chile Crisp – Chinese condiment
Rev: 220108 730

1/2 c Cooking oil
1/4 c Onion, dried, minced – spice jar (= 4 T)
2 T Garlic, dried, minced – spice jar
1 t Sugar, granulated
1-1/2 t Salt – Fleur de Sel (or Kosher)
1/3 c Red pepper flakes – dry (= 5 T)
3 T Sesame seeds
1 t Sichuan peppercorns – mortar & pestle coarse; or coarse grind (optional)

Shrimp – par cooked (31-40)
Green beans – par cooked (1” long)
Noodles, egg – par cooked

Short Rib(s) w/ Liquid Smoke - Dinner

Short Ribs – bone-in (4 pcs – 2 lb)
Short Ribs – boneless (6 pcs – 0.9 lb)

Cooked both types in separate Sous Vide bags for comparison.
Seasoning in each bag:
1 t Black pepper
1 t Accent (MSG – for umami)
1 t Garlic powder
1 T Butter
2 T Liquid smoke – (Wright’s hickory brand)
Sous Vide at 136°F for 72 hours. (Save Au Jus for later use.)

Green Beans w/ homemade bread croutons – sautéed in Olive/Avocado oil; plus 1 t of Chile Crisp condiment.
French fries – peanut oil.
Dipping Sauce – Mayo w/ horseradish.

For years it was not available outside HI, NJ, CA or NY. A few years ago, it got into the internet business.

This Kit comes w/ fresh frozen noodles, soup mix, & instructions. Just add other ingredients (shrimp, fish, etc), toppings, & condiments (green onions, etc).
