Back to the subject of the FFC I use it with a pulley attached with my anchor line.so if you enter the tree with srt or drt you can climb off a pulley settup from the anchor line and use the pulley that is mobile to access the canopy side to side or up and down .hopefully pictures will follow....ROBDOG

I take it you're pulling the anchor line and pulley over a limb up in the tree and securing the running end down below at the ground?

yES KEVIN since the anchor line is more versatile than than having to run both ends of the climbing line down the same side of the tree. It is anchored from a point of yoour choice.On the same tree or elsewhere on the ground for easy access and to keep it adjustible so you can take it all over the tree......ROBDOG
