Fishermans TDS in video review

Has anyone come across this video that was recently posted?

Alarms bells started ringing from 2.36 for me. They are clearly attempting a fisherman’s stopper knot, which they don’t seem too sure of and I really doubt he ended up with a fisherman’s on the second attempt. My question is, does anyone know the name of the knot he eventually sets and is it suitable for such a critical knot?

He's calling it a fisherman's, but he tied a double overhand - both times - which is correct. That's the knot used in the TM bridge.

I always thought it became a fisherman's when it's used to join two lines together (a bend as opposed to a stopper). Anyway, he tied it correctly.

Dude tied it right, used poor terminology. So what....
For the purists it's a double overhand stopper, which is dressed differently from the 'hitch hiker knot' also not far off from the stevedore knot.
All work well in this application so it's splitting hairs.

FYI
Grapevine
double overhand
hitch hiker stopper
double Fishermans
anchor hitch
are basically all the same thing, just different configurations or dressing.
