@Worthaug; I guess the reason I haven't chimed in is that I'm not now nor have I ever been employed in the arb industry. I get your point, though. Commenting on this thread without spilling one's own beans is sort of like going to a nudist beach and wearing a bathing suit.
Well, my bathing suit is coming off, baby!
1.) Paper boy
2.) Retail clerk in a supermarket chain, various positions.
3.) Electrical worker.
That's it. Pretty boring.

He's been climbing for me and doing storm work the last month he did not inform us but we know now !!! Be weird being touched by another guy though ! I'm kinda awkward that way!!!!Oroboros, do your coworkers know you were a massage therapist? "Mike, my back is hurting again."![]()
Having skills like carpentry/ woodworking is a nice thing to fall back on. I turn down more of that work than the tree care that I pick up!

YesReed, just out of curiosity, do you turn down the carpentry work because it just doesn't pay as well as the arb work, and you want to remain available for the arb work, or is it just that you enjoy doing arb work a lot more?
Tim
I usually tell people about my skill set. But 99% feel the same as Devon so I show them some good stretches.
I choose tree work over carpentry because I enjoy it more and it pays me better.
So, do you do a little Graston Technique on the jobsite with the back of a handsaw and a cable lag spinner?I usually tell people about my skill set
I had to look that up! Steel tools? Not for me. Most I will do on site is a good back cracking. I'm pretty good at it.So, do you do a little Graston Technique on the jobsite with the back of a handsaw and a cable lag spinner?
