Climbed on the ole crusty rope wrench for the first time in a while. Felt pretty good. The sycamore is almost 110'. I plan to fish out of it during the upcoming trout season.

Its at the shepherd damn in camp hill pa. Its part of the yellow-breeches.That spot looks very familiar Tyler. Where is it?
i don't think twice about 1 loop. A great climber from my company showed me this configuration. My rope was 200', i wouldn't have had enough rope if i took another loop. I do sometimes go around the tree a couple times to use up rope if i have a lot left. But yeah i see where ur coming fromNice vid, that does look like a great spot to throw the flyline in. It may just be my opinion but would you think about adding a second loop on the base anchor. Those single wrap chokers scare me, a little slack in the line and all I picture is those things sliding up the tree 5 or 20 feet before they grab again. Just my humble opinion.
Haha. No, it wasnt too cold that day. I remember Aaron saying how hot the bone would get descending 60' that fast, that was about 105' and the bone was still touchable.Hey! were you warming your fingers there at the end?
