fall rec climb

I had my schedule shifted on me so I can't make the 25th unfortunately. Looking to Boston Bull to check-in to see if he's still on for the that weekend, should be enough climbers interested to make it a go.

Otherwise we'll shoot for another early November date.

Mike, whatcha got for a good date? I'm going to hang back on proposing one, I have too much going on lately but if you name a day it's something to work from.

The way it seems to work is that climbers want to get together but when push comes to shove it's tough to get many to show. I'm happy to climb with two or three folks and it's actually easier to find a location, with a larger group you start getting into permission issues. With a small group there are many more location options. Mihalek and I have a couple good spots for a smallish group near Rt. 495 just north of Rt. 9, I'll propose that as a location and then we can work on a day.

I'm pretty open except for Nov 22nd (Wife got tickets to the Pats/Jets game).

Oct 31st/Nov 1st is Halloween, so that's parties for most people.

I'll toss the weekend of the 7th of November out there. Either Saturday or Sunday are fine with me.

I marked 11/8 Sunday on my calendar, it's better for me than Saturday.

Trying to set up some dates for climbing in CT,Sat nov 21st and Sun Dec 6th. Moss what do you think?

I've got two potential Hartford area locations but neither is a strong contender right now due to people providing access being busy or out of town during that time. How about the tulips that you mentioned down your way? My current obsession is trying to travel as far as I can tree-to-tree through the woods using remotely set SRT traverses (no ground help) for the long gaps. Think about a woods location where we can work on that. I've got a go-to location near Danbury as well that would be good for December.

I like that idea, of trying to traverse a far as you can.
I will check out the Tulips this week.
