Estimate form

Anyone have a paper estimate form that they like? I am looking for something my crew can use in the field to give estimates, etc.

I like this line Mark.

"The authorizing party agrees to not enter the work area during arboricultural operations unless authorized by the crew leader on-site."

What ever you do, I'd suggest creating something you will have minimal amount of writing to do. See my word bid sheet as an example and feel free to rip any of my ideas.

My observation is, the typical bid doesn't have that much trees to work on. An average just about 3 trees to bid on. If they have a little more than 3 trees to work on, I'll draw a horizontal line between to make 6 trees to bid on. (You'll have to look at the word document to understand what I'm saying).

If I need to make small notes, I find some blank areas to write.

If the bid is complex, take good notes, create a bid on your computer, and e-mail it to them.

I can't figure out how to add an attachment to my post, but mine is just a box on the UR for client's address, my logo and contact info on UL. A big space for a drawing in the middle and the bottom has lines for description of each item and a total. No legal stuff, seems to work.

I write my invoices and estimates in quickbooks. I have a wireless usb modem, and a wireless portable printer, and either email them the estimate as a pdf document or print it and hand it to them on the spot.

Very professional and no one else around here does the same.

Here is on of the last I've done.
