We used to raise a pig or 2 every year. Sent much of it out to be smoke and cured by a local outfit here. The best bacon I have ever had in my life. We haven't raised any pigs for 3-4 years, but all this talk of bacon has me thinking!

I heard that a few years ago. We have "negative" proof...there is a whole region of the world who won't eat bacon, and they can't stop fighting with each other.

Then the same night I heard that we had bacon at supper. Our 2 boys played together peacefully all night. That is all the positive proof I need.

Yet they lost.

The founders were very wary of the tyranny of the majority. Majorities are not always right and often trample the rights of the minority. They devised a system that rewarded candidates who appealed to all, not just the populous urban centers.

Granted, it is an unusual system. But the rules have been the same since 1787. Not sure why Hillary supporters are acting aggrieved now.
